Need a little pick-me-up!

So for those of you have been following me on Facebook, you know that I'm going through some stolen identity issues right now.  I'm scared, shocked, rocked, rattled, and mad....and my day today has been totally unproductive in the sewing department.  And to top it all off, I'm already drained for the day and I still have so much to do.  So, that's the icky stuff.....which brings me to the reason for opening this blog up a little earlier than I had planned.  I need a pick-me-up.  I need a little smile or a laugh today or a hug or to give something away...cause usually giving something away makes me super duper happy.  So, let's give it a try! ;)  Since over on the Facebook page we've now surpassed 800, 900, 1000, and on are on our way to 1100 fans (which makes me totally excited), I thought it might be fun to do a couple little giveaways leading up to one really big one.  Each giveaway will be different!  So, the first giveaway (the 800 fan giveaway) will be for a FREE CUSTOM PINWHEEL SKIRT.  I can do these skirts in sizes from 12 months all the way up to a woman's size XL! :)  If you'd like to win, please just leave a comment below here on the blog.  Winner will be announced Friday evening.

Oh, and a couple more things to note....as I mentioned, this blog was not intended to be shared this early....so the design will change.  I've only begun playing with the image, so better things are to come.  Also, I had wholeheartedly intended for ALL benefit orders to ship by Friday.  I still hope to achieve that, however I've had a lot of unexpected stuff going on yesterday and today so if I run into the first part of next week with those orders, please don't be upset.  I promise I'm working on it!  Now all you super fantastic GGG fans, get to commenting!!!! ;)

    Oh Timberly, So sorry to hear about all that's going on with you. What a bummer to have someone steal your identity. Must be that you are so talented, they just wanted to be you! You do beautiful work, with affordable prices. I am definitely a GGG customer and fan for life!

    Stolen Identity is the worst! I am sending you hugs and hoping it all gets worked out soon! It makes me sad to see people who have to deal with this mess! It takes a lot of nerve to steal someones identity!

    I remember very vividly when my identity was stolen about 6 years ago. Remember to put a fraud alert on your credit report!

    I too am so sad for you Timberly. I had no idea that was happening. I hope that things get sorted out for you very quickly!!!! A similar thing happened to us once, when someone got our credit card numbers and began using them. Ridiculous :( Anyhoo...Your work is AMAZING!!!!     UGH I totally understand the ID theft issues and the pain it can cause. I found out someone had about 300K of debt in my social security number (including student loans) and a teaching certificate!!! Hang in there!

    And we would LOVE to be entered into the drawing!!

    I'm so sorry that people are so ruthless! I also had my card stolen two weeks ago and it is just so frustrating! I hope it all gets cleared up soon.

    Timberly...this isn't a just outcome for such a generous person...but perhaps it has given you a bit of a break...maybe it is the most extreme way the universe is telling you that you work too hard...as a banker I despise identity theft, but the good news is that the consumer will be safe! <3 and (()))!!!!

    We were up hiking in Acadia National Park yesterday and got stopped 4 times in a one hour time span by people asking where I got Sage's Scooby Doo dress. They all thought it was awesome and Sage took on a superstar attitude for the rest of the day :-) I hope you gained a few more fans! We can't wait to add more GGG to our wardrobe!!

    I can't believe someone stols your identity. What a nightmare.     I can totally understand how you feel. I had someone using my SS# in New York (I live in CA) and almost was not able to purchase a house we had been watching be built from the ground up because it looked like I had over $20,000.00 in unpaid credit cards. We did not find out about this until we were doing the WALK THRU on the house. Luckily it was fixed but took a few weeks..

    Oh mama!!! So sorry to hear of your awful week!!! In new to all if these FB pages and I LALALOVE your beautiful work!! And hope to be put in the wait list for July/august :) I know how u feel.. At times I feel the same as Im a working single mama with 5 kiddos and sometimes we just need a hug or pat on the back!!! Getting everything fixed with your identitytheft is a longggg process... Even after my sister canceled her cards when her car was stolen with purse inside.... The low lifes were able to use her VS card online!!!
